Doctor amigurumi crochet

Crochet this doctor from my book ‘Crochet at Work’

If there was one career that has been in the forefront over the last 2 years it has got to be anyone working in the health services. The pandemic has certainly seen a rise in respect for people who are on the front-line putting their own health at risk. Here in the UK during the first lockdown hundreds of rainbows went up in windows across the country in support of the NHS and we would all come out onto our doorstep every week to ‘clap’ for them too (I even bought out my Clubbercise glow-sticks one evening)!

This Doctor comes complete with scrubs and a face mask. You can get the pattern for this doctor in my book ‘Crochet at Work’ which is available to buy here. There are three different body shapes to choose from, choice of skin colours and many customisable hairstyles, so you can make your doll as unique as you would like. Why not make it for a doctor you know?

Crochet at work book

There are 20 dolls to crochet in total including: Lumberjack, Racing Driver, Diver, Soldier, Police Officer, Singer, Farmer, Teacher, Vet, Dancer, Pilot, Firefighter, Builder, Athlete, Footballer, Scientist, Chef, Explorer and Astronaut.

The other great thing about all the patterns in the book is that they are all crocheted in one piece from toe to head – so no sewing required in the main doll. The only sewing needed is for the accessories which is minimal.

The book is available to order here.
