Fasten off leaving a very long tail, then using a needle sew the hole closed. To form the segments of the pumpkin insert the needle at the top of the pumpkin and pass it right through the middle and out the bottom again (you should have a piece of yarn wrapped around the outside of the pumpkin). Pull on the yarn gently to squish it into shape. Repeat another 5 times evenly around the pumpkin to create 6 segments. Weave in end to secure.

Use the black to sew a little mouth.

For the stalk, ch5 in green, dc in 2nd ch from hook and along chain. Fasten off then sew both ends onto the top of the pumpkin.
