Skill level: Beginner
Size: 6cm – 19cm tall
Yarn requirements: (you’ll need 1 ball of each unless otherwise stated)
- For the French Hen:
Scheepjes Catona, 100% mercerised cotton, 4-ply, comes in 10g, 25g & 50g.
Colours: 249 Saffron 25g, 391 Deep Ocean Green 50g, 516 Candy Apple 10g, 383 Ginger Gold 10g.
Ricorumi Lamé, 100% polyester, DK, 10g, 50m
Colour: 002 Gold - For the Speckled Hen:
Scheepjes Stone washed, 78% cotton / 22% acrylic, sport / baby weight, 50g, 130m.
Colours: 803 Black Onyx
Scheepjes Catona, 100% mercerised cotton, 4-ply, comes in 10g, 25g & 50g.
Colour: 115 Hot red or 516 Candy Apple - For the Large chicken baskets:
Scheepjes Stone washed XL, 70% cotton / 30% acrylic, aran weight, 50g, 750m.
Colours: 841 Moon Stone or 844 Boulder Opal 2 x 50g balls, 847 Red Jasper. - For the Chick:
Scheepjes Stone washed XL, 70% cotton / 30% acrylic, aran weight, 50g, 750m.
Colours: 857 Citrine, 847 Red Jasper.
You will also need:
- 6mm & 9mm safety eyes
- 2.5mm & 4mm hook
- Polyester toy stuffing
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
