What is a CAL?

The term CAL stands for ‘crochet-along’. A CAL is where a group of like minded crocheters work on the same project at the same time, sharing their progress as they go. This usually done in a private Facebook group where everyone can share photos of their work in progress and celebrate when they finish each part.

When does it start?

This Folk Bunny CAL will start on the 21st March 2025

How can I take part?

Purchase the pattern before the CAL starts so you can gather your materials. Yarn packs will be available soon.

Who is the CAL for?

To take part in the CAL you will need to know how to crochet already. The pattern is rated as ‘adventurous beginner’. It has simple construction but will introduce you to new techniques. The pattern has with lots of step by step photography and details on how to do certain stitches (like the magic ring for example). I will be posting videos onto the CAL Facebook page on all the techniques used.

How will I know what to make when?

The CAL will be hosted on Facebook and there will be a list of what part we will be making each day. But this is a loose schedule, you can do as much or as little as you would like each day.

What if I get stuck and need help?

This is what’s so great about a CAL. I (the designer) will be on hand to answer any questions in the group as will be a whole group of crocheters who will be able to give tips too.

What if I don’t finish in time?

You’ll be sent to the dungeons and be fed bread and water for the foreseeable future! Not really 😉

We all crochet at different speeds so some people will finish very quickly and some will not finish in time which is absolutely fine. The group will remain open after the 2 weeks, it just might not be as active as it was. There will still be plenty of time to finish before Christmas.

Why should I join a CAL?

You’ll meet a group of like minded people online who are all making the same thing.

It will give you motivation to keep going on the project seeing everyones progress.

Some people may adjust the colours or add more details which will give you inspriation.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Digital Patterns & Courses
Digital patterns and courses cannot be returned once accessed, unless they are faulty. If you would like to exchange a digital pattern or course please get in contact so we can help.

Delivery Errors or Damage
Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery of any errors in delivery or any damaged goods so we can arrange a replacement.

Returns & Exchanges for Physical Goods
You must notify us within 30 days of delivery if you wish to return or exchange goods. Returned or Exchanged Goods must be in a good condition and in the case of kits have all constituent components returned unused (For an exchange or refund rather than a fault). Any items return not in a good condition will not be refunded or exchanged. You are liable for all return costs. Returns must be sent by a tracked and insured service (except for damaged goods and /or goods sent in error).

DELIVERY

For our printed patterns, books and crochet kits we use Royal Mail first class for UK deliveries. We aim to post your orders within one working day, delivery is usually 1-3 days depending on the whims of Royal Mail.

For international orders we provide fast worldwide shipping by priority air mail with Royal Mail which includes international tracking and insurance incase your parcel is lost or damaged in transit.

Tax/Import Duty

Due to recent EU and UK tax regulations you may be liable to pay tax/duty when you import any of our physical products if you live outside of the mainland UK. In the EU this means the delivery company will charge you customs fees before delivery of your parcel. If you are refuse delivery because of this fee your country charges we will happily refund you the cost of the physical product minus any delivery costs. Refund will be issued once the produce has been returned to us in good condition. If you have accessed any digital products these will not be refunded.
